Overview:
The NAVIGATOR SERIES is designed to introduce the basic
concepts of navigation for travel around the world. We start at
very simple levels with directional commands:
Beginner Navigator ... left, right, forward & backward
Navigator I ... north, south, east & west.
Navigator II ... north, south, east & west using a protractor for
degrees of movement.
The GEOTHEATER Learning Resource Procedures are the
same throughout the Series, therefore, the Procedures are
printed once at the beginning of this Resource. It is the
Directional Instructions that become more specific as your
students progress through The Navigator Series.

Learning Outcomes
From this resource it is anticipated that students will:
- Work as a team and cooperate.
- Learn to give and take specific instructions.
- Be introduced to the concepts of direction.
- Be introduced to the practical applications of estimating.
- Be introduced to the democratic process of election.
- Identify and locate their home country and continent as well as other locations
in the world.

Equipment Required:
- 4 or 5 rocks or beanbags
- 4 protractors for Navigator II
