The Alpha-Hop
(paint not included)
''... hop and learn the alphabet ...''
Overview
Children learn the alphabet while hopping to the
rhythm of the 'Alphabet Song'. The ALPHA-HOP
makes a bright colorful 'performance learning' addition
to the surface of a playground, walkway or gym at any
school or daycare.
The ALPHA-HOP is a floor activity that simultaneously
stimulates physical, visual and audio activities that
result in purposeful play ... indoors or outdoors. The
kinesthetic learning process is used to instill the
foundation of the English language, the alphabet.
Some students come to preschool or primary school
armed with a thorough foundation in the alphabet,
however, this basic building block is learned at varying
ages and stages of a young child's development. We
believe that it is important for students entering school
to experience a non-threatening, rewarding and
enjoyable method of reinforcing their own knowledge
base. The ALPHA-HOP, with its learning procedures,
accomplishes this goal for the alphabet through
'purposeful play'.
